Day 1: Nairobi → Lake Nakuru National Park

Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive through the scenic Great Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru National Park, one of Kenya’s premier wildlife sanctuaries. After lunch at your mid-range lodge, enjoy an afternoon game drive in this compact yet wildlife-rich park. Lake Nakuru is renowned for its black and white rhinos, Rothschild giraffes, flamingos, and diverse birdlife. The park’s acacia woodlands also support lions and leopards. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight, surrounded by peaceful lakeside scenery.

Day 2: Lake Nakuru → Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, drive south-west toward the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve. Arrive in time for lunch at your mid-range safari lodge or tented camp. In the afternoon, head out for your first Masai Mara game drive. This reserve is home to the Big Five and offers exceptional predator sightings year-round. Expect elephants, buffalo, lions, cheetahs, and vast herds of plains game. Enjoy sunset views over the savannah before returning to camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Full Day Masai Mara Game Drives

Spend a full day exploring the Masai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives or an extended full-day safari with picnic lunch. Your guide will track wildlife movements across different ecosystems, increasing chances of seeing hunting cats and large herbivore herds. The Mara is particularly famous for its lion prides and open landscapes ideal for photography. Optional activities such as a Maasai village visit or hot air balloon safari can be arranged. Dinner and overnight at your mid-range lodge.

Day 4: Masai Mara → Serengeti National Park

Depart early and travel to the Kenya–Tanzania border at Isebania/Sirari. After immigration formalities, continue to Serengeti National Park, one of Africa’s most celebrated wildlife destinations. As you enter the park, enjoy game viewing en route to your lodge or tented camp. The Serengeti’s vast plains host an incredible diversity of wildlife, including lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, and wildebeest. Dinner and overnight in the heart of the Serengeti.

Day 5: Full Day Serengeti Safari

Enjoy a full day of game drives in the Serengeti, focusing on prime wildlife areas based on the season. Morning and afternoon drives reveal the park’s famous big cats and expansive herbivore populations. The Serengeti is known for its dramatic landscapes, endless horizons, and exceptional wildlife density. Your experienced guide shares insights into animal behavior and ecosystem dynamics. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight, enjoying the sounds of the African wilderness.

Day 6: Serengeti → Ngorongoro Conservation Area

After breakfast, enjoy a final Serengeti game drive before heading toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Ascend into the lush highlands and arrive near the crater rim or Karatu area. This region offers cooler temperatures and scenic views. Optional cultural visits can be arranged in nearby communities. Dinner and overnight at your comfortable mid-range lodge, preparing for the next day’s crater exploration.

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater Safari

Descend early into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the most wildlife-dense areas in Africa and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
